I’m an independent SEO consultant in Raleigh, NC. Formerly Product Advisor, Technical SEO, and Brand Ambassador at Ahrefs, and a Technical SEO at IBM for many years before that. I helped define the ‘Search Marketing Strategist’ role for the US Department of Labor, co-wrote Ahrefs’ SEO Book for Beginners, led the SEO chapter of the 2021 Web Almanac, and was the technical review editor for The Art of SEO. I run a Technical SEO Slack group, moderate r/TechSEO, and help run the Tech SEO Connect conference.
